New Zealand Certificate in Hairdressing Salon Support Level 3

You will cover all the fundamentals in hairdressing including salon culture, consultation, blow drying, long hair up, elementary cutting, colouring and customer service. Successful completion of this qualification gives you entry into the advanced level NZ Certificate in Hairdressing: Emerging Stylist Level 4.

New Zealand Certificate in Hairdressing Emerging Stylist Level 4

This programme will develop your creativity and learning with in-depth client consultation, advanced styling, cutting, chemical services, colour correction and much more. Gain this qualification and enter into the hairdressing industry confident in your knowledge and skills.

New Zealand Certificate in Beauty Therapy Level 4


You will graduate with all the necessary skills to work in a Beauty Therapy clinic including skin consultation, nutrition advice, manicure / pedicure, facials, eye lash / eye brow tinting, massage, waxing, spray tanning and more… Successful completion of this qualification will give you entry into the advanced level NZ Diploma in Beauty Therapy Level 5.

New Zealand Diploma in Beauty Therapy Level 5


You will graduate competently performing in-depth consultations, developing and managing treatment plans for advanced beauty services including skin and body therapies, advanced hair removal techniques, nutritional advice complimentary to the beauty industry, full body massage, electrical therapy machines and small business acumen.

Successfully complete this qualification and feel ‘work ready’ for the high standards this industry expects.

Entry Criteria
Hairdressing: Salon Support and Emerging Stylist
Beauty Therapy: Certificate Level 4 + Diploma Level 5

All students must be able to demonstrate:

  • IELTS level 5.5 (no band lower than 5.0 or equivalent)
  • Academic records (equivalent to NCEA Level 1)
  • Age 18 years or higher
  • A passion and desire to be working in the hairdressing industry
  • A positive attitude and commitment to complete the course
  • A valid student visa
